The friendly and enthusiastic team make Long Melford so welcoming. As soon as you walk through the doors you get the sense that the people working here genuinely care about what they are doing. As Jasmine, the pharmacist, says, “seeing the customers happy makes me happy!”.
During our visit we spoke with the team about what it’s like to work at the pharmacy. Sophie talked about the great sense of variety in her job, saying that no two days are ever the same, while Josie noted how much she enjoyed working with such lovely people – both staff and patients.

They have also recently introduced a travel clinic which is already proving popular.

Sophie talked about how the introduction of technology has helped both staff and patients with daily pharmacy operations: “it’s making things much quicker and better for the patients. So many of them are of the older generation but they already have smartphones and tablets – we don’t have any issues with them using Healthera.”
Jasmine goes on to say, how much it benefits the pharmacy team: “Healthera saves us so much time, meaning we can provide an even better service in other ways. We have more time to actually spend with patients now.”
