How to get technical support from the Healthera Team

All of our Healthera users’ have access to the Healthera Technical Support Channel which can be accessed by selecting the ‘Profile’ tab located in the bottom right-hand side of the app; then scroll down to the bottom of the app and select ‘Customer Support’.

I wish to make a complaint

As a healthcare provider and representative of your community pharmacies, Healthera takes complaints and feedback seriously. If you wish to make a complaint or give us some feedback please do so by emailing and include either ‘Feedback’ or ‘Complaint’ in the subject line.

How does Healthera make money?

We charge a monthly subscription fee for pharmacies who would like to use Healthera. This allows pharmacies to offer the mobile app to their patients for free.

I forgot my password, will I be able to recover my account?

Yes, of course. If you are a patient using the app the easiest way to recover your account would be to reset your password using the patient app, or on the Healthera Connect Platform if you are a pharmacist. If you get stuck please email us at 

What if my pharmacy is not currently a Healthera pharmacy?

We are working to bring as many pharmacies on board with Healthera as possible, but this may take a little time. Please email us at to let us know your pharmacy's name and their contact details so our team can approach them.

Can I order a repeat prescription over the phone? 

If you would like to order your prescription over the phone, this will depend entirely on the services offered by your GP or local pharmacies. If you need any help using the Healthera App to order your repeat prescriptions, click the “Profile” tab, and then “Customer Support” to speak to a member of our team. 

How long will a pharmacy hold your prescription?

The length of time a pharmacy will hold your prescription varies between each pharmacy. However, they will typically keep your prescription for 10 to 14 days. We would recommend contacting the pharmacy directly to be sure, either using the messaging feature on the Healthera App, or calling them. 

Can I collect my repeat prescription from any pharmacy?

Unfortunately, while we have over 1000 pharmacies to choose from, we don’t currently cover every pharmacy in the UK. When you register with the Healthera App, you will be provided with a nominated pharmacy, but you can choose from a range of Healthera pharmacies. If there isn’t a pharmacy close enough to you to collect from, there are a range of pharmacies that deliver nationally that you can use.

Am I eligible for free prescriptions?

Some groups are automatically entitled to free NHS prescriptions (in some cases you will need a certificate). This will depend on things such as:

  • your age
  • your income
  • where you live
  • if you get certain benefits
  • if you’re pregnant
  • if you have a medical condition

I am not in the UK, can I use Healthera? 

Currently, Healthera is not available outside of the UK. However, Healthera is expanding rapidly and there are plans to bring the app to other countries in the near future - so stay tuned!

Why do I need Healthera?

Healthera is the best way of connecting you to your pharmacy, it is the fastest and easiest way to order repeat prescriptions, book pharmacy services and to contact your pharmacy. It also functions as a handy medicine and appointment reminder which tracks and records your medicine usage to help improve your medicine adherence.
