With a wide variety of services available, including a walk-in travel clinic, the friendly team at Caxton Pharmacy are busy delivering service and support to the local population.

Delivering a Personal Service

During our visit, Reshma, the Pharmacy Manager, talked about the history of the Caxton Pharmacy. While it’s existed for a long time, it’s been with her family for over thirty years. Reshma tells us how this community presence allows them to deliver such a personal service to their patients.

Being an independent pharmacy enables Reshma and her team to go above and beyond for customers. The pharmacy itself was beautifully presented, inside and out and the staff demonstrated such an enthusiasm for the work they were doing.

Industry Changes & Our Partnership

Tulshi, the Pharmacist at Caxton Pharmacy talks about how the pharmacy industry is changing and the importance of staying up to date with those changes, saying: “the pharmacy industry is definitely becoming more reliant on technology but I think that’s a good thing. We’re moving with the times. We do everything on our phones nowadays, why not NHS services and prescriptions as well?”

Reshma talks about how they have adopted Healthera in the pharmacy, looking specifically at the improvement in patient communication. The team are really proactive in updating patients with the status of their prescription orders. Not only does this increase patient satisfaction, it saves significant time with the daily pharmacy operations.

“Technology is becoming more normal and more accessible in the pharmacy. Using something like an app means we can easily communicate with our patients and keep them up to date.”
