We are partnered with the National Pharmacy Association
Healthera, the NHS accredited patient app that community pharmacies can offer to their patients, is now officially National Pharmacy Association's Recommended Business Partner. Proud to be working with over a 1,000 independent pharmacies across the UK, Healthera is the fastest growing technology network of GPs and Pharmacies.
The National Pharmacy Association, established in 1921, is the largest British industry trade association for independent community pharmacies. The association was set up to support the UK pharmacies to succeed professionally and commercially for the benefit of patients.
Healthera has been operating in the UK since 2016 and has been accredited by the NHS. It too helps patients to manage their repeat prescriptions and medication, book appointments and contact their pharmacist for clinical advice. The digital connection adds to the convenience of the pharmacy service and helps to optimise medicines use.
Harpreet Chana, Digital Consultant for the NPA said: “The NPA wants to ensure that all of its independent pharmacy members can mobilise digital technology to improve patient care. The NHS has clearly signalled its aspiration to give patients more control over their health care including medicines use. By bringing patient app suppliers to our members, we are helping set independent pharmacies up for further digitally enabled care in the future.”
