Healthera App’s 2021 Redesign!
Over the past few months, we have been working hard on a complete redesign of the beloved Healthera iOS app. We’re pleased to announce that it will soon be available through the update!
Not only does this give the app an even more refreshed, refined and modern look, we have also built improvements that will help us expand on the already rich feature set going forward.
Each and every one of the screens within the app were completely redesigned with usability in mind to help you to smooth your ordering journey.. With fine lines, simple colours, and bright call-to-action buttons, the new app looks simply gorgeous. By embedding reviews and patients feedback, we have identified and improved areas of the app where patients struggled and help them to achieve tasks faster
As it turns out - we had a lot more screens than we thought. Prescriptions are a complicated matter. Everything from the different scenarios with GPs, pharmacies, exemptions, payments, deliveries, and more, it was a remarkable work of our team to convert all the complexities into a simple user experience. We ended up redesigning and rebuilding over 200 screens - over the course of an intensive 10 weeks.

Version 1 of the Healthera app was first released on 16 March 2017. We have just passed our 4th birthday.
As a celebration, the user will see how long they have been with Healthera for as soon as they update the app. What will your “days together” be?
Pharmacy Selection & Pharmacy Home screen
The pharmacy selection screens have been optimised and now really clearly showcase the services that each pharmacy provides. The patient can also now see the pharmacy’s overall feedback rating so premium pharmacies now stand out from the crowd.
In addition, the dedicated pharmacy screens, for example pharmacy home page, messages, and service booking, have been given a sleek new feel and simplified to help patients get the most from what their pharmacy has to offer in professional services.

As you may know, the very first feature we built on Healthera was medicine alarms. It’s no surprise that the current focus on the home screen is very much on medicine reminders.
But over the past few years, Healthera has really grown. Every day, thousands of patients are using the Healthera app to order and pay for their repeat prescriptions, track their deliveries, book clinical services with local pharmacies, and much more.
Healthera is building an all-in-one healthcare ecosystem driven by the offerings from our local pharmacy partners.
We have redesigned our home screen to hold all of the key critical information that provides the most value to patients. What do they need to do next on the app? Is it time to reorder medicines? When is their next upcoming clinical appointment? Of course, their upcoming medicines to take during the day is still at the centre of the experience, and it’s now more intuitive than ever.
For our partner pharmacies, this means that the home screen is now more flexible than ever, and this enables us to introduce other more creative ways to promote your offerings to patients. Stay tuned for upcoming developments in this space.
